CNR's Lowenstein Alzheimer's Adult Day Care Program offers a better quality of life for Alzheimer's patients and a much needed respite for family caregivers. Day and evening sessions are offered in a caring, safe and structured environment. Each program provides up to six hours of health care supervision, assistance with personal care, and a variety of activities that promote good feelings and enhance self-esteem. Patients participate in activities that stimulate and encourage them to function at their highest possible level. Each program has a registered nurse who meets clients' important daily health care needs such as monitoring blood pressure and glucose levels, and administering medications. Medicaid covers the cost of the Alzheimer's Adult Day Care program. If you are not sure whether or not you qualify, we'll help you determine your Medicaid eligibility.
